In my career I've had to use RESTful APIs for things I wanted to automate but couldn't get management approval for a 3rd party product (Looking at you Gmail API for signatures), and to do some other repetitive tasks. In this video, we'll take a look at the API Preview on FortiOS, the example we visit is creating a policy, but the API preview is all over the UI and can be used to get working references of JSON requests so you can automate your Fortinet platform.
